The trial in the case of a man accused of killing his former father-in-law has begun.
Opening statements were made this morning in the trial of Jacob Nunez, who is accused of killing 52-year-old Mike Ramos.
Prosecutors say Ramos was shot once in the chest and died inside his home on Brandywine Court last year.
During today’s testimony, jurors heard the 911 call made minutes after the shooting, as well as testimony from investigators, describing the scene on the day of the shooting.
The trial is expected to continue tomorrow.
