It was an early morning for the Corpus Christi Fire Department, as multiple crews were called out to fight a fire near downtown.
It happened around 3:00 a.m. in the 700 block of Sam Rankin.
Flames could be seen from our skycam as crews battled to put them out.
At least one building may have been evacuated.
No word yet on the cause of the fire, or if there were any injuries.
