Continuing construction on the Harbor Bridge Project is bringing another road closure to the area.
Beginning Wednesday, June 20, and running through July 2, the intersection at Interstate 37 and Nueces Bay Boulevard will be closed, according to project coordinators.
During the closure, the northbound and southbound lanes of Nueces Bay Boulevard will be reduced to one lane as drivers approach the IH-37 intersection.
Frontage roads at the intersection will remain open, and detours will be put in place.
Project coordinators say the closure is necessary for the demolition of the Nueces Bay Bridge, but that the bridge will be rebuilt as part of the Harbor Bridge Project.
