Legendary Tejano musician Jimmy Gonzalez has passed away.
The lead singer of Jimmy Gonzalez and Grupo Mazz died at a San Antonio Hospital.

We are saddened to learn that Jimmy Gonzalez of Grupo Mazz died this morning. According to the news, Gonzalez was hospitalized Tuesday and ended up passing away this morning in San Antonio.
Jimmy Gonzalez has been a staple of our annual Shrimporee for many years and is loved by so many in the Coastal Bend. He will be deeply missed this year, and our hearts, thoughts, and prayers go out to his surviving family.
