Officials are investigating an early morning fire in a vacant home.

Just before 2:00 a.m., the Corpus Christi Fire Department was called out to a fire in the 1400 block of Craig Street.

When they arrived, they found an unoccupied structure in flames.

Firefighters were able to put the fire out in under twenty minutes, despite there being multiple points of origin.

The home suffered smoke damage throughout, with heavy fire damage to one room, as well as to the outside of the structure.

CCFD is looking into whether or not the fire was intentionally set.
