A Corpus Christi man is facing serious charges after police say he walked into a fast food restaurant, holding a knife, and making threats to workers.
The incident happened just after 7:15 pm Sunday night at a restaurant near Weber and Saratoga road.
According to police, when they walked into the restaurant, they tackled the man and took him into custody.
Police were called by a witness who spoke with a photographer with KRIS 6 News. The witness says she saw the man walking down the sidewalk with a knife and growled at her, holding the knife and not wearing a shirt.
She says she called 911 and they quickly arrived at the scene.
Police say the man faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
