Corpus Christi police are investigating a shooting at a west-side convenience store.
The shooting happened near a store located at the intersection of Greenwood Drive and West Point Road around 2:30 Saturday afternoon.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a man who was shot. Police said the victim was a 39-year-old man who suffered a gunshot wound in the stomach.
A suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot.
Detectives are still investigating what led up to the shooting, however, added that the victim was not cooperating with the investigation.
