Miller high school is getting a nine-million dollar new look.

The new plans call for Battlin Buc to be a cul-de-sac rather than a street that curves Lipan.

The cul-de-sac will be used for pick-up and drop-off of students. The front entrance to the school will also be moved to the cul-de-sac area and will have two sets of double doors as a safety feature.

The upgrades also call for a new computer lab, some new bigger classrooms, a new gym, a building for R.O.T.C. and athletic renovations.

Justine Wade who is a senior served on the committee to voice opinions about what kind of upgrades would most benefit students. Although she’s graduating, she’s excited that her school will get a new look.

"I honestly think it will change the image, they’ll look at Miller and think, like, wow that’s something we haven’t seen before," said Wade.

The new expanded Miller will be ready for students in the fall of 2019.
