The American Bank Center will be busy hosting several graduations this weekend.
If you’ll be attending, here are some of the restrictions you need to know about. It has a bag policy in place that prohibits large bags and purses from being brought into the arena. If you have to take a diaper bag, it must be clear. No strollers are allowed because of the space restrictions in the arena.
Also, anyone entering the American Bank Center must go through metal detectors set up at the entrance.
The American Bank Center’s Marketing and Media Relations Manager Kristen Bily said in this day and age, there are lots of new security measures they have put in place. "I think that’s a little bit of a surprise for some people but I think at the end of the day, the public will see we’re just trying to keep everyone safe. We want to make sure their experience is a beautiful one. This is a special day." Bily added.
The American Bank Center has received a few questions from the public. It encourages everyone to reach out to them via Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.
