A driver was killed after losing control of his vehicle and crashing just outside of Premont.
The accident happened Monday, May 28 just after 6:30 a.m. on County Road 415 just southwest of Premont.
The driver, identified as 28-year-old Alberto Suarez of Premont, lost control of his 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 while going southbound on CR 415 and flipped several times off of the roadway, according to DPS investigators. Suarez was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
DPS Troopers do not know why Suarez lost control and are further investigating the crash.
