The Ennis Joslin Road Extension from Williams Drive to Holly Road is now officially open.
Corpus Christi City Council and public works staff hosted a ribbon cutting this morning for this Bond 2014 proposition 2 approved by voters and now turned into a reality.
Improvements include a brand new five lane road with four travel lanes and a continuous left turn lane.
The extension also has new sidewalks, curb and gutter, ADA ramps, concrete bus pads and cycle tracks.
Utility improvements include new storm water, wastewater, water and gas.
Residents say they’re happy to have another way to access SPID faster without having to take Rodd Field Road.
