An accident on Highway 361 this afternoon sent one person to the hospital.
According to Corpus Christi Police, a Ford truck headed north on SH 361 rear-ended another truck and went into a ditch. Officers at the scene said the diver corrected and made it back onto the highway when it hit the second truck.
The driver of the Ford was taken by Halo-Flight to Spohn Shoreline, his condition is unknown at the time of writing.
Drivers of the other two trucks involved in the accident were able to leave the scene on their own.
Officers said that both sides of SH 361 were closed to allow access for Halo-Flight, tow truck and debris clean up.
Police say no citations have been issued, but that the accident is still under investigation.
