The man accused of taking part in a deadly home invasion say’s he’s innocent.

Ricardo Acuna appeared in court Friday morning for his arraignment. During that hearing, Judge Klein told Acuna he’s been charged with capital murder, engaging in organized criminal activity and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Acuna pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Those charges are connected to a double shooting on March 14th at a home on the 2000 block of Coleman Street. One of the victims, 19-year old Deandre Mathis, later died.

Two other people, Ariana Carbajal and Ismael Castillo, are also charged in the deadly shooting. Castillo is also a suspect in the April 2nd home invasion that left a couple, Arturo and Miriam Lopez, dead on the 2500 block of Balchuck Lane.
