Emergency crews are on the scene of a rollover accident at the Crosstown Expressway extension near the Weber exit. One person was ejected, according to DPS officials on scene.

The driver of a truck was speeding while going south on the Expressway. The driver tried to cut in front of an 18-wheeler in order to make the Weber exit but clipped the cab instead, according to officials. The truck went off of the roadway and flipped at least twice.

A passenger in the truck was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected during the accident. He was taken to Spohn Shoreline with severe head injuries, according to officials.

The driver was able to get out of the truck by himself. The extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.
