Officials at Naval Air Station Kingsville are reporting a plane crashed on base this afternoon.
According to the base public affairs office, a civilian owned and operated T-6 Texan crashed shortly after take-off at approximately 12:30 pm today.
The base says the aircraft was visiting NAS Kingsville.
No information was provided regarding the pilot’s condition.
