A Corpus Christi woman is facing serious charges after being accused of breaking into a building and trying to set it on fire.
The incident happened just before 6:00 am Monday morning in the 1300 block of Santa Fe Street.
According to police, when firefighters arrived at the building, they discovered a woman who allegedly started the fire inside the building.
Firefighter say the damage was contained to only one room.
.Police say the woman, who is identified as 47-year-old Christy Blevins was charged with burglary of a building and arson.
Her bond was set at $52,000.
