Corpus Christi police officers swarmed a neighborhood after a suspected gunman ran away from police.
The incident unfolded after police were called about an armed carjacking in the 4100 block of Carlton Street around 6:50 pm Monday night.
Police were able to find the suspect at a convenience store at Baldwin and Morgan Avenue around 7:15 pm Monday night.
Police say the armed suspect ran away from the scene and ran into a group of houses along Osage Street.
Police were not able to find the suspect.
Police say they know the name of the suspect and are actively looking for him
