Vinyl record enthusiasts lined up outside a local record store to grab some brand new album releases.
Hundreds of people lined up and were hoping to pick up a few records from Hybrid Records Saturday morning.
And if you didn’t know, today is Record Store Day!
The event is held once a year on the third Saturday of April
Carlos Cooper, the owner of Hybrid Records, says,"It started in the US and then expanded to the UK.
Cooper says because of the vinyl’s comeback, last year they saw 75 people waiting in line to buy vinyl records and this year; people spent time waiting in line just to buy records.
Cooper says it’s not just Rock N Roll records they sell. "There were some pretty high profile and hip-hop and soul, R and B releases as well, it’s been all over the place, but it’s been really good, and people are picking up a lot of cool stuff," Cooper says.
