A local artist is getting big recognition from a state senator later today.
Local mural artist Jeremey Flores will be recognized by State Senator "Chuy" Hinojosa. Hinojosa will issue a proclamation recognizing Jeremey’s outstanding artistic contributions to Corpus Christi.
As we’ve reported, Jeremey has painted a number of murals throughout the community on everything from electrical boxes in the downtown area, to giant-sized murals like this one at Mesquite and William that covers the entire side of a building.
Our congratulations to Jeremey, a rising star, and supporter of our local art scene. The event starts at 11 a.m. in the Commissioner’s Courtroom on the third floor of the Nueces County Courthouse.
