Want to learn how to say a few words or phrases in different languages, including Korean, French, Japanese, Spanish and others?

Del Mar College’s Communications, Languages and Reading Department has scheduled a FREE "World Languages Tour" for attendees wanting to expand their vocabulary, practice their speaking and listening skills and learn the importance of different languages.

During the "tour," participants will rotate to tables set up with a native speaker from different countries.

They will learn and practice pronouncing words and phrases in several languages.

Each table will also have notecards and a linguistic map of the different countries represented during the tour.

Native language speakers are students enrolled in the College’s English for Speakers of Other Languages and Foreign Languages programs.

That will be Wednesday, April 11, 12 to 1:30 p.m., in the grassy area between the Solomon Coles Classroom Building and the White Library, on Del Mar College’s East Campus.

Use the entryway at Kosar off Staples and Naples.

The event is free and open to the public.
