A computer glitch has caused issues for several students trying to take the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness test, also known as the STAAR test today.
Corpus Christi Independent School District Public Information Officer Leanne Libby confirmed that there was a technical issue late Tuesday morning. Libby said, "Students took a lunch break and then computers were restarted."
KRIS 6 News has received calls from viewers from surrounding school districts who stated students there have also had similar issues. There’s no word yet on how or if this will affect this week’s testing schedule.
We have reached out to the Texas Education Agency for more information. Stay tuned for KRIS 6 News for further developments.
