According to the Corpus Christi Homicide Survivors Group, today was the start of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.
The Corpus Christi Homicide Survivor Group were at the Nueces County courthouse to display their wreath and plaque. The wreath and plaque will be on display during the entirety of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.
Nueces County residents also gathered outside the county courthouse to remember those they have lost to violent crime.
This event is held every year to get the word out on what services are available to the families of crime victims.
