A company called RedLine Burgers is set to host their first food truck event this weekend.
A Facebook page called RedLine Burgers Corpus Christi posted they will have their first food truck event at the Lazy Beach Brewery Friday at 5:00 p.m. The event will be held at 7522 Bichon Drive.
KRIS 6 News reached out to the page’s owner to see if they’re affiliated with the original RedLine Burgers, and they responded back," My husband’s father was a manager for three locations and my husband worked there with him (as) he was growing up."
"His father has now passed, but he always talked about bringing it back! He registered the name several years back and just sat on it, and fortunately, we have been blessed with the opportunity to do our school carnival which led us in the direction of opening a (RedLine Burger) truck!"
The owner of the page said they look forward to serving the community and plan to give back to those in need.
The food truck owners say they might add another event Saturday afternoon.
