Capital murder suspect Christopher Gonzalez appeared in court, hoping to get out of jail.

He is one of seven people charged in the murder of Breanna Wood. She was reported missing in October 2016. Her body was found three months later at an abandoned home near Bluntzer.

On Friday morning, a bond reduction hearing was held for Gonzalez. He asked Judge Jack Pulcher to reduce his $1 million bond. In the end, Judge Pulcher lowered Gonzalez’ bond to $750,000.

Meanwhile, police say Wood’s ex-boyfriend, Joseph Tejeda, shot Wood to Death. Tejeda is facing the death penalty. Several other people face lesser charges in connection with the crime.
