The Nueces County Medical Examiner says 21-year-old Breanna Wood was shot to death.
She’s the young woman who had been missing since October. A Nueces County inmate, in jail on an unrelated charged led detectives to her body Tuesday morning. He told investigators he had been paid to get rid of her body. Wood’s remains were found on an abandoned property near FM 666 and FM 1833 South of Bluntzer. Police did not say how long she had been dead.
No arrests have been made in this case.
