CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — All right Coastal Benders, are you ready to rodeo?
Buc Days is 84 days away and today some announcements were made by the Buccaneer Commission.
New this year will be a STEM Robotics Rodeo presented by CITGO, with a Lego League competition for lower grades. And there will also be a tech challenge for older students.
All Buc Days festivities will be focused around the American Bank Center, sort of like festival grounds.
The Stripes carnival will be set up there, along with a new shopping area that will be called Treasure Island, and the big rodeo.
The parade route also has changed a bit.
It will start at the American Bank Center; travel down Chaparral Street to William Street, where it will take a right turn; and then end at the same location as last year.
Buc Days begins April 30 and runs for 11 days, wrapping up May 7-10 with Rodeo Corpus Christi.
