The Corpus Christi Hooks' 2020 season will be delayed.
The announcement follows Major League Baseball's decision to delay its season in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Minor League Baseball, which oversees Triple-A, Double-A and Single-A affiliates for major league teams, announced it would follow suit.

The MILB said it will reevaluate the start date of the 2020 season at a later time.
The MLB is the third sports league to make this kind of announcement; the NBA suspended their season Wednesday night after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19.

The NHL announced they will be suspending their season this morning.
