Two victims involved in a fatal helicopter accident in Duval County.
Two helicopters were flying over Wagner Farm, which is privately owned, when they collided about 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The pilot was Charles Short, 49, of Alice. And the passenger was Jose Renee Garcia, 39, of Realitos.
One copter was able to make a safe landing, but the other crashed.
The two people killed were in that crashed helicopter.
One of the victims died at the scene, the other was flown to Spohn Memorial Hospital in Alice where he died, the Department of Public Safety said.
Another person involved in the accident, a passenger, has an ankle injury and is listed in stable condition at Spohn Shoreline Hospital.
