Sunday, April 26
4:30 update: Nueces County health officials have confirmeda third death related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Also, four firefighter/paramedics have been isolatedafter possibly being exposed to the coronavirus.
Here's a full list of confirmed cases by each local county as of today.
Aransas County remains at 2, Bee County at 5, Kleberg County at 8, San Patricio County at 11, Brooks County at 1, Jim Wells County at 3, Live Oak County at 4, and Duval County confirmed a second case.
Saturday, April 25
4:45 p.m. update: 2 new cases brings the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nueces Co. to 94. One new recovery makes 33 total recoveries in the county.
Currently 3 remain hospitalized. One of those patients is in intensive care.
A total of 2075 tests have been conducted as of today, according to Nueces Co. officials.
2 p.m. update: Kleberg County and City of Kingsville confirm one additional COVID-19 case.

7 p.m. - A Corpus Christi Fire Captain is self-monitoring due to possible exposure from a family member.
The Captain and six firefighters he came in contact with yesterday will be self-monitoring due to their potential exposure. Once test results are received, a determination will be made regarding the next steps.
The City of Corpus Christi is committed to ensuring the safety of first responders and will take necessary action to protect personnel, their families, and the community.
4:25 p.m. Nueces County is not reporting any new cases. 19 have recovered.
4:00 p.m. San Patricio County is not reporting any new COVID-19 cases. In fact, the county has reduced their most recent count of 12 to 11 explaining that one case that was under investigation was found to be and out of county case.
Tuesday, April 21
4:30 p.m. - Nueces Co. is reporting no new cases of COVID-19 for the third consecutive day. The count stands at 90.
3 p.m. - Gov. Greg Abbott's team has received much information from businesses across the state that they are prepared to open their doors for potential customers.
Abbott's team is receiving suggestions from doctors to those businesses on when and how they will be allowed to open. More information on this is expected during the governor's next briefing on Monday.
Abbott said there are close to 500,000 jobs open across the state. He also suggested for potential employees to visit workintexas.com, a free service connecting employers with employees.
2:40 p.m. - Gov. Greg Abbott said today in Austin that April 9 was the only day more than 1,000 people were diagnosed as testing positive for the coronavirus statewide. That means we are 12 days beyond our all-time high. However, Abbott said the fatality rate continues to increase across the state.
2:30 p.m. - Abbott said he's talked with President Donald Trump about the oil and gas glut across the nation. They are considering strategies on how to deal with it. Abbott said that Trump told he cares about the effects on this issue on Texans and other Americans. The White House is expected to release more information on the oil and gas glut later this afternoon or tomorrow, Abbott said.
2:10 p.m. - Kleberg County is reporting its seventh new COVID-19 case. The patient is a young woman from Kingsville, who is believed to have been exposed while traveling to Wisconsin. She is quarantined at home.
Monday, April 20
4:30 p.m. - Nueces County is reporting no new cases of COVID-19. The County has reported its first death. Annette Rodriguez, the health director of the Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District, confirmed that the victim was a woman between 70 and 79 years of age.
Corpus Christi City Manager Peter Zanoni said the woman was from Robstown and initially tested positive for COVID-19 in early March, but subsequently tested negative prior to being discharged from the hospital at the end of March. The patient was recently re-admitted for complaints of abdominal pain and other underlining issues and passed away on Sunday.
4:00 p.m. - Brooks County confirms first COVID-19 case in the county.
3:30 p.m. - San Patricio County is reporting 1 additional case bring that county's total to 12.
3:30 p.m. - Bee County is reporting 2 additional COVID-19 cases bringing that county's total to 5.
