KINGSVILLE — The circus has come to Kingsville and you're invited, too!
The Do Portugal Circus features international performers with a variety of talents. From acrobats to clowns and motorcyclists to trapeze performers, be prepared to be entertained for two hours of fun.
The circus showgirls will perform throughout the show with light up costumes and a series of dances. The girls performing represent international talent, and are from Scotland, England and Canada.
There are 13 showtimes offered over 10 days, from now until July 21. Weekday shows are at 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday showtimes are 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. It’s all happening at the JK Northway Exposition Center (501 Escondido Road).

The Kingsville Parks and Rec department is also offering family fun this weekend with their Dive-In Movie in the Pool presentation. Bring the family to watch Bernie the Dolphin Friday evening. The first 175 people will be treated to complimentary Justaburgers from show sponsor Whataburger. There will also be pre-show games. Admission is $4 and the movie starts at dark.
Also, the John E. Conner Museum offers a look at South Texas history and after closing for renovations, will reopen Monday, July 15 with a special exhibit featuring the Playhouse of Design artwork. The temporary exhibit showcases unique, colorful and local art and some pieces are available for sale. Admission to the Conner museum is always free.
