CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Pup Rally is a dog-friendly 5K walk/run fundraiser offered by Recreational Sports at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
This event is open to everyone on campus and in the community, in hopes of raising awareness and funds for First Friday, a local organization that partners with Christus Spohn Hospital in providing free mammograms and other services for women of south Texas in need.
A donation of at least $5 is suggested and encouraged at registration. With that, you will receive a Pup Rally T-shirt, and your pup will get a bandana!
To register, come to the Hammerhead Parking Lot on campus (take the second entrance off Ocean Drive and it will be the first parking lot to your left) on Friday, beginning at 5 p.m. Pup Rally will start at 6 p.m. at the A&M-Corpus Christi Hike and Bike Trail.
Dogs must be well behaved and kept on a leash or harness.
Don't have a dog? Don't worry! Bring some friends and come spend the evening enjoying music and a silent auction. A costume contest for pets and owners will also take place.
