CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — The good folks at Corpus Christi Animal Care Services need some volunteer help in caring for the animals who come their way. That includes our Pet of the Week.

Minion is a 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog with lots of drive. Even when relaxing, she is always on the verge of breaking out in a tail-wagging frenzy of friendliness!

This gorgeous girl is up-to-date on all of her shots. She has been spayed and microchipped and is ready to go TODAY to live with the lucky family who adopts her.

CCACS is located at 2626 Holly Road and is open from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. each afternoon, including weekends. To reach them by phone, call (361) 826-4630.

Those who would like to volunteer to do just about anything and everything you can do at a kennel, should contact CCACS as soon as possible. Often, it is the volunteer who helps ease the fears of a frightened animal and bring them out of their shell, setting them up for what will eventually be a successful adoption.

Be sure to visit the CCACS Facebook page: www.facebook.com/corpuschristianimalcareservices.

You can also go to www.PetHarbor.com where you will find pictures and information on all of the animals who are waiting to be adopted from CCACS.

If you use Instagram and Snapchat, simply search for Corpus Christi Animal Care.
