CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — UPDATE: Corpus Christi police have said the man who was found unconscious near J.P. Luby park did not survive.
Corpus Christi police say first responders have pulled a man, who was found unconscious, from the water.
The incident happened just before 3 p.m. near J. P. Luby Park.
Officers added that once the man was pulled from the water, CPR was started to save his life.
The victim was said to be in his 50's, police said.
