CASA of the Coastal Bend serves as a voice in the court system, advocating for children in foster care. Now, they have partnered with Attorney Thomas J. Henry to offer something more to those who step up to help.
Henry has donated 200 iPhones and Beats Wireless Headphones.
During October, anyone who gives a minimum of $800 to CASA through the 'Make the Call 4 Kids' campaign will receive either an iPhone 6s, iPhone 7 or iPhone 8 (depending on the donation), as well as a pair of earphones.
According to Henry, this fundraising effort is one way to help CASA change the life of a child who is feeling vulnerable.
"We all have our experiences growing up as kids and you've got to reach into your heart and think about it; think about some child alone needing help, needing protection," said Henry. "It's a good cause and you'll be doing something great for children who really need help."
