Smoke billowed into the air after a group of pallets caught fire near a business.
The fire broke out just after 10:30 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Laredo Street and 19th Street.
According to investigators, a homeless camp may have started the fire that was in between two businesses. The smoke alarmed drivers who were traveling along the Crosstown Expressway.
Firefighters arrived with ten minutes of the first call they received and knocked down the blaze. Luckily, no businesses were damaged.
