CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Fryderyk Chopin Society of Texas was established by and for people who love piano music. In fact, it is that love which drives the members of the group toward four principal goals:

  • To make the music of Chopin dear to the heart of all Texans;
  • To provide a venue for renowned pianists to perform in our area;
  • To create more opportunities for our community to hear live piano performances;
  • To give the students in our schools access to free lecture recitals and master classes by visiting artists.

Three events happening this month (beginning this weekend) have put the group’s dedication to achieving those goals on display.
