CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra has another powerhouse performance planned for this weekend.
Under the direction of Maestro Hector Guzman, the CCSO will present ‘An American Rhapsody,’ featuring 14-year-old piano sensation James Tien performing Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, followed by Dvorak’s New World Symphony. Also featured, Suite from Porgy and Bess.
This concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Performing Arts Center (6300 Ocean Drive). Pre-concert entertainment will feature live music, a cash bar and light snacks in the PAC lobby beginning at 6:30 p.m.
