Normally, North American Aerospace Defense Command’s (NORAD) first priority is defending North American airspace 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
But, once a year, on the 24th of December, NORAD has another important mission; Mr. Kris Kringle himself, Santa Claus.
Now, in its 67th year of doing so, NORAD is proud to continue that tradition.
Starting on December 24 at 4 a.m. EST, website visitors can see updates of Santa's preparations for his flight.
