The G.I. Joe toy franchise has been around for decades, and they have made two movies based on widely popular action figures. Two more movies are now in the works.
According to Hasbro and Paramount, the two films they are working on now will be the fourth and fifth installment of the series.
Metro.co.uk reports that the film is being written by Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec, who worked on Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The third movie will be released on October 16, next year. The fourth movie has no release date yet.
Past G.I. Joe movies have included the talents of Ray Park, Channing Tatum, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dwayne Johnson, and Sienna Miller.
