LOS ANGELES, California — The Grammy Awards have been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Tuesday, organizers told the Associated Press that the ceremony planned for Jan. 31 will now take place in March.
The event will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, but because Los Angeles County is a major hot spot in California for the pandemic, organizers felt the need to push it back.
The Grammys are set to be hosted by "The Daily Show" host Trevor Noah.
Performers will be announced at a later date.
