Water's Edge playground ribbon cutting just in time for Spring Break

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Join city representatives for the ribbon cutting of the redone Water's Edge Park playground.

Mayor Joe McComb, District 1 Council Member Everett Roy, and City Manager Peter Zanoni, along with representatives of the City of Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department will be taking part in the ceremony that celebrates the early completion of improvements to playground.

The playground is expected to be fully open just in time for Spring Break.

"The purpose of the playground improvements is to restore Fall Zone safety measures which consists of the existing play surface being removed, a new concrete floor poured, and a new pour-in-place deck installed over the concrete," says the ribbon cutting event page.

The ceremonytakes place Wednesday at 10 a.m. at 402 S Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78401.
