Toys for Tots kickoff concert Thursday at Brewster Street

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — For 72 years, the U.S. Marine Corps reserve has run Toys for Tots.

It is back again this year. First Sgt. Jeffrey Williams of the United states Marine Corps.

They will talk about the upcoming holiday season and some of Toys for Tots’ plans for giving.

Events will start with a kickoff concert Thursday at Brewster Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission for the concert will be a wrapped toy.

Collection will be at 65 boxes across the Corpus Christi area. The center of distribution is at La Palmera Mall.

Distribution will be on Dec. 13-15.
