LAGARTO, Texas — The community of Lagarto and others who live in the area of Lake Corpus Christi are hosting a fundraiser for Halo Flight.
More information about the Texas State Championship Barbecue Cookoff event Oct. 11 and 12. Among the categories that will be judged include brisket, ribs, chicken and beans.
The event will be held at the Riverbend 534 Club, FM 534 in Sandia just off Lake Corpus Christi.
