CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — This event is wacky. Hosted by the Corpus Christi Joker, this free foam blaster battle event combines the beauty of Christmas, the force of Star Wars, and Nerf blasters.
"This is to celebrate the last of the Star Wars movie coming out this month! So get your Star Wars Nerf blasters and lightsabers and come hang, do the free raffle and enjoy this free Nerf event."
The battle goes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Sunday, Dec. 29, at the Lamar Disc Golf Course.
No foam blaster? No worries.
"Don't have a Foam blaster? Never fear, we will have some on hand to borrow!" their event page says.
Organizers promise plenty of giveaways.
"First 9 kids that come up to me and say they are with the Dark Side will get a free Star Wars mask," Corpus Christi Joker posted.
Dart in the Park is a regular event hosted by the South Texas Foam Flinging Society.
