CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The celebration continues Saturday for Hispanic Heritage Month at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History.
Carol Rehtmeyer and Donna Cannetella from the museum meet with KRIS 6 Meteorologist Maclovio Perez to check out the upcoming events.
Among the items on tap for Saturday include:
- FREE Pork Guisada Verde prepared by Chef Mario Garcia with H-E-B Plus from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
- FREE Agua Fresca provided by Fresco Restaurant from 12 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- A presentation by Cecilia Garcia Akers, author and daughter of Civil Rights leader Hector P. Garcia from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
- Folklorico dancers from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.
- Activities for kids throughout the day will include molas, piñatas, loteria, zampona
