CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Members of the Galvan Elementary Choir sang their hearts out today for someone they hold very dear.

Cornelia Davis, who is known as “Granny Davis” by everyone at the school, celebrated her 100th birthday today.

She's served as a CCISD foster grandparent for the last 20 years.

“It's wonderful to be here,” Foster said. “It’s wonderful to have so many people to love you and think something of you.”

We're told that Granny Davis loves to share stories about her life. Especially about the time she worked as a riveter during World War II.
