Free haunted house admission for donating unwrapped toy

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department is putting an interesting twist on a Haunted House.

Nightmares on Swantner Street is is not for the faint of heart, according to a press release from the city. it is sure to send thrills and chills up and down your spine.

The haunted house opens this Friday, Oct. 11, and will continue to run on Oct, 12, 18, 25, and 26 between 7 pm and 10:30 pm. During Halloween week it will be open on Oct. 28, 29, and 30. It will be at the Lindale Recreation Center (3133 Swantner Drive).

Children 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult and admission is free if you donate a brand new unwrapped toy. Admission is $3 otherwise.
