CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — An apple a day is supposed to keep the doctor away, but for patients at Driscoll Children's Hospital, it will keep their summer camp programs running.
The Six Points Kiwanis Club is holding its annual apple sale to fund Driscoll's cardiology, nephrology, oncology and pulmonology summer camp programs.
Red and golden delicious apples will be sold in cases for $45 each.
Apples will be sold in the Pediatric Center parking lot until 6 p.m. today and again tomorrpw from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
