CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Looking for a place to veg out this weekend? Look no further. The Corpus Christi Veg Fest is back!
The 2nd Annual Corpus Christi Veg Fest will take place this Saturday at Heritage Park, 1581 N. Chaparral Street.
It starts at 10 am this Saturday, Oct. 12, and goes until 4 pm.
The event is FREE to attend and promises loads of veggies, guest speakers, and a great time!
"This festival serves as a time to celebrate and promote plant-based foods, animal rights, and environmental sustainability. We hope you join us," their website says.

10:30 AM Chef Eddie Garza is a vegan chef, cookbook author, and leading figure in the movement to reform food systems in Hispanic communities. Eddie has cooked for a host of plant-powered stars in the television, film and music industries. Free food samples during presentation, first come first serve.10:45 AM Acro Yoga in the Rose Garden to start in 15 minutes with Rafaela and Anthony from Youga Yoga.
