The Texas State Aquarium is offering a deeply discounted ticket price on Monday, Jan. 21.
The Community Day, presented by NavyArmy Community Credit Union, will offer admission for only $2 per person, allowing everyone to experience the Aquarium’s exhibits.
Community Day’s $2 admission gives access to all of the Aquarium’s exhibits and a 4D film: “The Deep 4-D: Mystery of the Ancient Amulet.” The $2 admission also covers parking in the Aquarium’s lot.
“For the 11th consecutive year, NavyArmy Community Credit Union will sponsor the Texas State Aquarium’s discount day and we are pleased this year will be the Aquarium’s first $2-per-person Community Day” said NavyArmy spokesperson Ashley Smith. “NavyArmy’s donation is made on behalf of our more than 180,000 members in South Texas. This event will allow many families the opportunity to experience a day with our fishy friends.”
Community Day will be the Aquarium’s new deeply-discounted day for its visitors, and is expected to offer a more relaxed and family-friendly experience than Dollar Days in previous years.
Guest admission from Community Days, along with the support of corporate partners, will go towards supporting the Aquarium’s operations, including animal care, staffing and a variety of wildlife conservation and wildlife rescue programs.
Hours for the Jan. 21 NavyArmy Community Day are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Children 2 and under will receive free admission, and parking is included with admission. Due to the significant increase in attendance, regular presentations and visitor programs will not be provided. Tickets are available for sale on-site on Community Day only. There are no tickets available for purchase in advance or online.
